OUTREACH MINISTRY "SHARING GARDEN"
A Name Has Been Selected
THE WINNING NAME IS "SOUL FOOD"!
Anyone wishing to help with seedlings, please feel free to start your seedlings now but they must be started with Dairy Doo Dirt/Compost.
If you would rather purchase plants, you will need to get them from either Bear Creek Nursery on Atkins Rd., or Coveyou’s on US-131. The plots will be at Farming for Our Future on Sheridan Street and since it is an organic garden, we really must adhere to their rules.
The big day of planting is Sunday, June 13th after the 10 a.m. service. It takes a village to grow a garden so volunteers will be to help plant.
Later volunteers will be need to help weed and pick this garden. Please think about volunteering. All tools are provided as is water. Stay tune for more details!
Please feel free to contact Shirley Burns and/or Dottie Hawthorne if you have any questions.
