September 2022 Sacred Ground Webinar with Presiding Bishop Michael Curry

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry spoke at the Sacred Ground fall kickoff webinar on September 15, 2022. In conversation with Canon Stephanie Spellers, Bishop Curry shared his vision for racial reckoning and justice ministry over the next two years and offered his blessing to everyone on the Sacred Ground journey.

Following the Presiding Bishop, two panels of Sacred Ground leaders facilitated by Jayne Osgood shared their experience welcoming new (and perhaps skeptical) people into race conversations and explore strategies for transitioning into action and community engagement. Panelists included Noelle Ptomey and Lesley Dean (Diocese of Nebraska), Virginia Woodruff (Diocese of East Carolina), Rev. Dr. J. Lee Hill (Diocese of Virginia), and Jill Henderson (Diocese of San Diego).
