Planned Giving

Stewardship at Emmanuel Episcopal ChurchEmmanuel is more than a place of worship where we gather on Sunday to give thanks for our many blessings. It is a place with a deep history, an abiding tradition and a visionary future. It is a community institution and a social and spiritual resource. It is a part of us just as we are a part of it. Each year, parishioners are asked to pledge a portion of their income to support God's work through this place, and Emmanuel plans its yearly programs based on those pledges. In order to ensure the continuation of that work, we ask you to consider providing for Emmanuel's in your long-range planning, too.

There are several ways you can make a gift to Emmanuel while protecting and even enhancing your own financial well-being. The best plan for you depends upon what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your loved ones and the institutions and causes you support. Given the complexities of the rules relating to tax deductions for charitable giving, it is important that you consult an attorney or professional advisor when planning a gift.

There are several ways you can fulfill your pledge to the Campaign while protecting and even enhancing your family's own financial well-being. The best approach for you depends upon what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family and the causes you support. Information on a variety of vehicles for planned giving can be found at the Episcopal Church Foundation website:

The information on this website is only a brief introduction to the many ways in which you can use planned giving to benefit Emmanuel while meeting your own financial goals. There are other financial plans not discussed on the website that may be more appropriate to your own circumstances.
